The magic of Christmas Eve. Such a wonderful day...
Good things happened with Byron today. Exchanged presents, watched Napoleon Dynamite, which is a very, very funny movie if you like dry humor. Even though we were interrupted by first his father, his mother, and finally his little brother peeking in and giggling to himself, we actually got back to the point we were at before the talk during the drive to Michael's Monday night, or at least that's how I feel.
Yay for us.
Sometime today my grandfather will be arriving from Illinois. Ahh, Grampy. So odd, but we love him.
You know what I really want for Christmas? Pee-Wee's Playhouse Christmas Special on DVD!! Our tape of it was destroyed last year, but I only found out about it last night, which really depressed me. That was one of the Christmas specials we ALWAYS watched, along with the abominable snowman one, and the Garfield Christmas special. Ah, good times.
I know I won't get much sleep tonight. That's how it always is on Christmas Eve. It sounds really childish, not being able to sleep the night before Christmas, but it's not because I still believe in Santa or anything. Maybe it's because I would always have trouble when I was little, so it's just carried over from then. Whatever the reason, I know I won't get much good sleep tonight, even though I purposefully didn't get much sleep last night to try and counter the sleeplessness of tonight. I'll most likely be like this my entire life if it hasn't gone away yet. Ha... And Byron thinks it's kind of cute. It's really kind of annoying, in it's own odd and special way.
I wish we had snow for Christmas... Instead, it's all green and brown, and we'll be getting RAIN the day after Christmas! That's NOT how Wisconsin is supposed to be. I wouldn't mind winter so much if we had a little pretty snow on the ground.
And I'm done babbling for today. Happy Christmas Eve everyone!

just kidding, I don't want to be the stupid sister who's around when she's not wanted.. *sniff*..
I know I won't be getting to bed early tonight either - mostly because, I never get to bed early anymore. Did you know that friday night I was up until 5:00? And bored as hell.
I'm not even going to see good snow this winter. I'm so jealous. Liz is burried under Blizzards in good ol Ohio.

Great movie, though.
Was she really "burried"? Or buried? And what were you doing up until 5:00?
